Adult Rehabilitation Mental Health Services (ARMHS)
Pacific Care offers Adult Rehabilitation Mental Health Services (ARMHS). ARMHS is a mental health service designed to provide individualized mental health support to individuals with a mental health diagnosis, geared towards facilitating restoration of functioning from mental health symptoms.
This service is intended for individuals age 18 years or older who have been diagnosed with a mental illness and have insurance coverage of Medical Assistance (MA) or Pre-Paid Medical Assistance Plans (PMAP). Our ARMHS program focuses on supporting participants by strengthening skills to further independence in the community. Services offered through ARMHS include:
- Basic Living Skills training
- Social Skills training
- Community Intervention Services
- Medication Education and Support
- with Transitioning into the Community.
We provide a growing menu of outpatient services to assist people with managing mental health symptoms and overall well-being.
Who is Eligible for ARMHS?
The eligibility criteria, as defined by the MN Department of Human Services, is that the person must:
- Be 18 years old or older.
- Have a primary diagnosis of a serious mental illness as determined by a Diagnostic Assessment
- Have a completed level of care assessment.
- Have a significant impairment in functioning in three or more areas of the Functional Assessment domains specified in statute.
